WESTLAKE (CBSLA.com) — Crews worked to repair a large water main that ruptured Friday morning in the Westlake District.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, crews arrived around 3:04 a.m. to the 600 block of North La Fayette Park Place near the corner of Bellvue Avenue.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power workers were called to the scene about a half hour later, officials added.
Water was seen flowing over sidewalks into drives, and against residents homes.
The cause of the break is being investigated.
