BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — About 30 homes were without water Wednesday morning after a water main broke and caused a sink hole.
The sink hole was first reported around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of the Burbank Fire Department training center at Victory Boulevard and Ontario Street.
The hole is about 20 feet wide and 20 feet deep.
Nearby streets were closed as the broken main flooded the area.
It was unclear what caused the water main to break.
