LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) – A water line break on top of a steep hill in Beverly Crest caused a mudslide that filled the backyard of a house with mud down below.
Nearly a dozen firefighters were on scene at the home in the 9000 block of West Burroughs Road diverting water and working to shut down the flow, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott.
That house filled with mud is now yellow-tagged, meaning no one is allowed to go in.
A neighbor told CBS2’s Erica Mandy that no one is currently living there.
No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.
